First Artist Management is one of the UK's leading agencies in the entertainment business. Its main area is the representation of television presenters, sports and media clients.

We also handle events, voiceovers, book deals, PR, radio, theatre and corporate events for our clients as well as having an in-house corporate speaking division.

First Artist Management keeps a small stable of clients in order to offer a full management service. Its television clients present a wide range of shows, predominantly in the field of factual entertainment and sport, ranging across all terrestrial and some digital channels.

The company has also been instrumental in discovering television talent and nurturing clients through from having little or no TV experience, to becoming established presenters on high-profile terrestrial TV shows. The company is also pro-active in developing television formats for its clients.

PR: The business also has a specialised PR arm, working to raise the profile of its clients across television, newspapers and press.

Events: First Artist Management also has a successful events management section. Events organised include fashion shows, art exhibitions and events at Wimbledon. All of these featured prominently in the national press and on television.

Managing Director Nicola Ibison was a newspaper journalist for 8 years, and has been News Editor at ITN and senior producer at GMTV

Senior Manager Julia Chapman joined First Artist Management in 2002 from another top agency, where she was working as Senior Agent.  She has been an agent for six years.  Before this, Julia was a radio producer, working for both the BBC and Independent Companies.

Jonny McWilliams - Agent. Jonny originally started work in television as a researcher on the RTS award winning documentary for Channel 4 - My Shakespeare, he quickly went into programme development, writing and pitching further documentaries and formatted series for the BBC, C4 and PBS amongst others. In 2005 he left production and began work with the First Artist Management team.

Penny Rose  - PR Agent. Penny has six years experience in PR and Public Affairs and a Masters degree in PR from the Australian National University. She has worked on many large national Government campaigns and managed a high-profile sports celebrity endorsement program. Prior to moving to First Artist Management, Penny worked with the Find Madeleine McCann Press Office.

Sarah Conacher - Corporate/Speakers. Sarah comes to First Artist after 14 years in the music business A&R and artist management, handling the careers of several well known artists and the odd media personality. Sarah has placed clients in shows such as I’m A Celebrity and Just The Two of Us. She also worked in development at Endemol after putting together the much talked about East 17 reunion documentary.
